Simple Dosirak Recipe

I recently gave my mom a copy of the "Working Mom Dosirak" Cookbook. Since she likes to cook for my kids, I thought it would be fun for her to try these new recipes! This week she surprised my son with this adorable dosirak.

This dosirak is really easy to do. For the rice, she added a little bit of soy sauce and sesame oil and mixed it with white rice. She sprinkled sesame seeds on top and used dried seaweed (kim) to make the pirate face. For the shrimp, she dipped the shrimp in egg, sprinkled a little salt and pan fried it. For the sausages, she made little slits (she made some slits in shape of an "x" for added presentation) and fried them. She also lightly fried the imitation crab meat. For some color, she added the tomatoes.
